Finals Week. The most dreaded week for a college student. Many of them do their last minute studying and calculate the lowest score they can get to pass their class. Countless of hours in the library or in study groups cannot save them all, sadly.
Miguel spent quite a bit of time studying for his Calculus final, but I think we both have decided, along with everyone else in the class, that no matter how much studying you do, no one is going to get an A on the final. Mind you, this is his French Calculus professor that he has had to deal with all semester long. This is the professor that tells you to study one thing and puts something else on the test. We are both a little anxious to see what his final score is on the test and in the class. We're hoping it is a passing grade. :)
Today's final is for USU 1350, Biology. This final is later today, so he isn't too worried about studying for it. Miguel does a pretty great job on his biology tests, and from the looks of it, he might just pass this class with a few flying colors. Too bad he doesn't want to go into biology... ;)
Tomorrow's final is Physics. Miguel isn't worried too much for this test. He has had a decent teacher this go around and has a fantastic study buddy, Mitch. Mitch was one of Logan's companions in Mozambique, and we have adopted him as a younger brother, to both of us, for the time being. The two of them have Physics, Physics Lab and Physics Recitation together. They spend a lot of time together. Hopefully the both pass this class and can get into a class together next semester!
Keep Miguel in your prayers, and hopefully he'll pass all three of his tests. I can't believe that our first semester of school as a married couple is already over with! How time flies when you're having fun. :)
I had a French math teacher in college, too. She was not very good. I guess math teaching doesn't work very well in France.
