Snow

Snow, dear snow, why on earth have you decided to fall tonight? I mean, all day was just fine with me and Miguel, but really?

It decided to snow here in Logan, I'm sure everywhere else in Utah too, and I'm not sure if either of us are going to survive! ;)

Send us some luck! Or, better yet, send us a love package. :) A letter would be fantastic too! We are quite lonely and only receive bills and junk.

Save us from the snow by distracting us with your lovely words of comfort.

Loves,
Miguel and Ambria

Included is a picture taken at Avis around 5:15pm today. It's probably a lot worse now. I don't even want to think about tomorrow...

Weekend in a Nutshell

Friday: Both of us had to work. Me from 11-6 and Miguel from 5-12:30ish. Yep, he was there for a very long time. I wasn't a fan. But, the USU vs. BYU Basketball game was that night, and I watched it at Fox's. It was a great game! Aggies: 69. BYU: 62. I did not doubt our team, not even for a minute. While I was situating my seat and the remote for the game, a gentleman and his son sat down at the table next me while trying to have a conversation with me about, oh, the gentleman's life. I say, I must have a sign on my face, that I cannot see, that says Please Tell Me Your Life Story. I am very interested. It happened two more times after that too. Oh well. I found out a lot about people that like to eat pizza.

Saturday: A nice day to sleep in. Well, since Miguel didn't get off of work until after the scheduled time, we thought we deserved a nice morning to relax and sleep. :) It worked! After painfully waking up and getting ready, we made our way down to South Jordan. My parents treated us a to a movie at the Megaplex at the District. Jack and Jill was the movie that went to see. It was pretty decent. Probably not the best movie in the world, but a good one at that. My advice: Wait for it to come out on Redbox. It might be worth $1.29 and comfy seat in your own home.
After a fun day of movies and trying to decide what to do with our evening, we ended up settling down for the night. Miguel and I watched a few movies, notably Crazy Stupid Love with Steve Carell. Quite possibly one of the best movies out there. :)

Sunday: A typical Sunday with lots of family time. :) We played Rummy before Miguel and I had to leave. I was 5pts away from winning. Sigh. It is going to happen next time, I promise.

We had a wonderful weekend, and want to know, what did you guys do this weekend? Anything exciting? ;)

Toodles!

Filling You In

Almost a month has passed by, and I have been a little too lax on filling everyone in on what's been going on. The only thing is that not too much has been going on! Hahaha. Nothing too grand to really report on, but I will find something to talk about. :)

Well, Halloween came and went. We didn't do much for it, only because I worked the Saturday before, and Miguel worked Halloween Night. I did dress up a little bit when I was by myself, and if I have to courage to post my cute kitty face on the blog, maybe I'll go ahead and do that. :) It was pretty amateur, but hey, one day when we have little ones I can perfect the face paint!

Miguel has been really busy with school the past couple of weeks. In the past 3 weeks, that is including this week, he has had 4 tests. One in Calculus, two in Physics (his next one is tomorrow! Wish him luck) and Biology. He ended getting a 92% on his Biology test. We're pretty proud, and I wonder why he doesn't just go into Biology... But that's out of the question. He claims that he isn't a biologist. We're both really glad that he is starting to understand the material in all of his classes.
Registration is on Tuesday, and he is super excited to try out some Electrical Engineering classes, but he isn't too sure what it is he wants to go into.

Now, if Miguel decides on what he really wants to do, we might have the possibility to go to OSU for school in the fall. He just needs to decide if going to OSU will help his schooling, then off we go. :) But, it's still up in the air. So we'll have to see.

I've been doing pretty well, and life has been good. I've been "Pinteresting" a lot of our meals the last little while, and I've been baking up a storm!
Last night I made Banana Frosting for my super soft Sugar Cookies.
I've also made, in the past little while since my last blog, Cake Truffles, Chicken Pot Pies, Mexican Salsa Chicken and those delicious biscuits from Red Lobster. Tonight we had some Poor Man's Tuna Noodle Casserole. Delicious! :)

So, the lack of posts is due to no internet at our house, and when I do get the chance to use the internet, mainly at the laundromat, I kind of forget to clue everyone in.
I'll try my best to be better. :) Not saying I'll be doing amazing at it, but it won't be a month to month posting.

If anyone has any questions about what's going on, feel free to leave us a comment, and I'll answer them as soon as I can. :)
